Natural Color: It is the only natural silk in the world with an inherent yellowish-golden tint that grows richer with age.
Texture and Weight: It feels soft yet has a slightly coarse, crisp body that drapes gracefully and holds its structure well.
Strength: Known as one of the most resilient natural fibers, it lasts for decades and can even improve its brightness with proper care.
Origin: Produced by the Antheraea assamensis silkworm, the authentic variety holds a Geographical Indication (GI) tag tied deeply to Assamese heritage.
